    Military Press: Supine, Resistance Band, Physioball, Thumbs In, 1 Arm


    Exercise Name: Military Press: Supine, Resistance Band, Physioball, Thumbs In, 1 Arm











    Primary Muscles:
    SHOULDER (ALL)
    SHOULDER-FRONT
    SHOULDER-MIDDLE

    Technical Difficulty:
    2 ALARM FIRE: INTERMEDIATE INTENSITY

    Equipment:
    PHYSIOBALL
    RESISTANCE BAND

    Training Benefit:
    BALANCE/STABILITY
    STRENGTH


    Starting Position: Attach a Resistance Band to a stable structure. Lie with the upper back on a Physioball and hold a Handle in each hand with the thumbs pointing in. Hold the arms in front with the elbows bent. Contract/brace the abdominals as if receiving a punch to the midsection and hold.

    Progress
    : Press the right Handle overhead, extending the arm. Return to the starting position and repeat. After the set, repeat on the other side.
